Who is Peter Klaren?
Peter Klaren is a fiscal economist and has supported WBSO applications since 2004. My role is not to replace the engineer, but to understand technical development questions quickly and translate them into RVO's assessment framework.
Over the years, I have supported applications involving software, machine building, electronics, energy, materials, chemical processes and production innovation.
I start with your technology, not with the form.
Peter Klaren studied economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam and obtained the Dutch drs. degree in economics in 1994. He has worked independently as a WBSO specialist since 2004.
Education and long-standing practice come together in the core of the profession: translating a company's technology into the criteria RVO uses to assess an application — and vice versa.

My role in your WBSO application
I first assess where the real technical development or research risk lies. I then discuss the project with the technical employees and translate their work into a project description aligned with the criteria RVO uses in its assessment.
I write the application myself and remain involved with any additional questions, statements of realisation and audits. You do not get an account manager; you work with the specialist who writes your application.
Personally involved: Peter conducts the substantive intake, assesses the WBSO position and is responsible for the project description. Additional technical or fiscal expertise is involved where necessary.
